An excellent summer school in an amazing location

New experiences, new friends, more English.

When students are on campus and not in lessons, they will take part in a programme of sports, arts and crafts, competitions, dance workshops and games. These all take place on campus and we expect them to join in these activities every day, spending time with new friends and using their English in a more relaxed environment.

We have a very varied and stimulating programme of activities led by young, energetic staff - join us and see just how much you can do in English. You can choose the activities you prefer to do on the day – let us know what you like and we will do our best to organise it.

You will be put into an international team and you can earn points for your team by showing enthusiasm, good behaviour and effort, both in and out of class. You and your team then compete for the Project Cup, which is presented at the end of the course on Prize-Giving evening.

And when we’re off campus…

Two or three times a week we organise trips to places of interest in this culturally important part of England. The excursion programme is designed to help introduce you to English culture and history and are prepared in class during the British Culture lesson. All trips are led by our teaching and activity staff. On most trips you will also have some free time for shopping or to explore the area yourself.

We are very lucky to be close to London so we go there at least three times during a 3 week course. There are also excursions to Cambridge, Hertford, Windsor and St Albans.

You will also have opportunities to visit other places on Sundays – we organise optional trips to a wide variety of places, for which there is an extra charge.
